India will be represented by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, a seasoned diplomat who will articulate India’s perspective on global issues such as peace, development, and multilateral cooperation. In celebration of the UN's 80th anniversary, significant meetings will be held under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General, including a climate summit and high-level discussions on gender equality, economic stability, AI governance, health, and minority rights. The UNGA remains the busiest diplomatic event of the year, providing a platform for collective solutions to global challenges.
